Reatha McGaugh
WELLINGTON - Reatha McGaugh,
91, died Sunday (May 28, 2006) at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington.
She was born Oct. 3, 1914, in
rural Oklahoma.
She was employed with
Presbyterian Manor for many years. Reatha also worked as a beautician for a
local beauty salon.
Reatha held membership with
Second Baptist Church and also served as president of the Ruth Circle Mission
in Newton.
She was a Harvey Girl. She
loved her family dearly, and they will miss her.
Survivors include: grandsons,
Charles Crump and Ken Crump and wife Judi of Newton; granddaughters, Vickie
Crump of Newton and Dianna McGaugh of Wichita; great-grandchildren, Teresa
McGaugh of Newton, Kanitra and Alvin Crump, Aaron, Bryce and Celesta Crump of
Newton, Natasha Crump; great-great-grandson, Durante Crump of Newton.
She was preceded in death by:
husband, Ray McGaugh; companion, J.B. Griffin; and daughters, Arlene McGaugh
and Darlene McGaugh.
Book signing will be from 8
a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Chapel.
Memorial service will be 2
p.m. Monday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Darryl Fox officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery.
Memorials have been
established with Second Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
