Matthew Ryan Gallops
POOLER, Ga. - Matthew Ryan
Gallops, 11, of Pooler, Ga., died Saturday (May 27, 2006) after being hit by a
car as he stood on the grass waiting for his little brother to come from
school. He was born June 6, 1994, to Ben and Gretchen Gallops in Newton. He was
a former Boy Scout and a member of the ROTC. Survivors include: his parents; a
sister, Caitlin of Pooler; a brother, Justin of Pooler; a grandmother, Annabel
Penner of Newton; a grandfather, Caleb Gallops of Alabama; and many uncles,
aunts and cousins.
Funeral service will be 2
p.m. Friday at Savannah Christian Church in Savannah, Ga.
There will be a private
burial.
Richmond Funeral Home in
Richmond Hills, Ga., is in charge of the arrangements.
