Bill Hall
Bill Hall, 83, owner of 81
Speedway and retired from the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Department, died
Saturday (June 10, 2006). He was born in Newton and owned Hall Wholesale. He
served in the Army during World War II under General Patton. Survivors include:
wife of 63 years, Shirley; a son, C-Ray and wife Brenda Hall; a daughter, Sandy
and husband Dick Coleman; foster kids, Larry Kohlman and Nancy and Russell
Keeler; a son-in-law, John Houle; a sister, Mary Krouskopf; grandchildren,
Russell Houle, Mylisa and Brian Powers, Dena Taylor, Scott and Staci Coleman,
Billy Houle, Danele and Rick Warner, Angela Davis, Troy and Amy Keeler and K.
J. Menges; 15 great-grandchildren; and many extended Speedway family and
friends.
He was preceded in death by:
parents, Charles and Alma Hall; daughters, Vicki and Venny; and a grandson,
Todd.
Family will greet friends
from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
Funeral service will be 2
p.m. Wednesday at Messiah Baptist Church in Wichita.
Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery following the service.
Memorials have been
established with Galacia Heart Hospital and Shriner's Children's Hospital in
care of Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
