Vira Meador Winsted

Vira Meador Winsted, 99, died Wednesday (June 14, 2006) at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation in Halstead. Survivors include: daughters, Shirley Joan and husband Roy Carroll of Cheyenne Wells, Colo., Jean Hicks of Newton and Charlotte Joy and husband Russ Bowers of Cameron, Mo.; and a brother, Warren Meador; grandchildren, Mike and Mitch Carroll, Sherri Buss Rawlins, Robert and Randall Hicks and Craig Simpson; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Satanta.
