Lillie Goering
HESSTON - Lillie Goering, 84,
elementary school teacher and librarian, died Wednesday (June 14, 2006) at
Schowalter Villa in Hesston. She was born May 1, 1972, to Felix J. and Katie
(Goering) Krehbiel in McPherson County. She married Lloyd Goering June 21,
1942, in Moundridge. He survives of Hesston. She had been a Hesston resident
five-and-half years, moving from Moundridge. She earned a bachelor's degree
from Bethel College and a master's degree from Emporia State University. She was a member of Eden Mennonite Church in
rural Moundridge.
Other survivors include:
sons, Jan C. Goering of Houston; a daughter, Judy Jantz of North Pole, Alaska;
a brother, Reuben Krehbiel of Moundridge; sisters, Tillie Schrag of Moundridge
and Ruth Beck of Hesston; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by:
a brother, Art Krehbiel; and sisters, Lizzie Schrag and Ruby Krehbiel.
Visitation will be from 3 to
8 p.m. Saturday with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moundridge
Funeral Home.
Committal service will be 2
p.m. Sunday at Eden Church Cemetery in rural Moundridge.
Memorial service will be 3
p.m. Sunday at Eden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge with Pastors Floyd
Born and Gail Graber officiating.

established with the Eden Church Library Fund and Hospice Care of Kansas, both
in care of the funeral home, 115 E. Cole, Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
