Edna A. Lawson

Edna A. Lawson, 88, of Newton, died Wednesday (June 28, 2006). In 1963, she married Owen Lawson. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Maughan of Hastings, Neb.; a brother, Henry Janzen of North Newton; two sisters, Ruth Zook of Newton and Clara Koehn of Newton; and a sister-in-law, Judy Janzen of rural Newton. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home. Family greets friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today. The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church.
