Jerry S. Cox
Jerry S. Cox, 66, died
Tuesday (July 18, 2006) at Wesley medical Center in Wichita. He was born March
3, 1940, to Ralph and Frankie (Ross) Cox in Wichita. They preceded him in
death. He married Marsha Crandall June 20, 1972, in Miami, Okla. She survives.
He served in the Army. He was a retired Wesco driver and a member of North Star
Masonic Lodge. After retirement, Jerry enjoyed watching and playing with his
pets and listening to "The Big O" Roy Orbison. Other survivors
include: sons, Lance Dale of Emporia, Vincent Dale of McPherson, Rod Dale of
Jaco, Costa Rica, Todd Cox of Derby and Kelly Waters of Big Ben, Calif.;
daughters, Debra (Cox) Turner of Corona, Calif., and Patti (Cox) Cox of
Marysville, Wash.; brothers, Roy Cox of Foyil, Okla., William R. Cox of Afton,
Okla., and Ralph Cox Jr. of Pittsburg; a sister, Phebe McCulloch of Belle Plaine;
nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be 10
a.m. today at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dick Reynolds
officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery.
Memorials have been
established with Caring Hands Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
