Velma Klassen
HILLSBORO - Velma Klassen, 87, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at Hillsboro Community Hospital. She was born June 16, 1928, to Heinrich B. and Maria (Voth) Unruh in Newton.
She married Pete Klassen Aug. 12, 1951, in Halstead.
Survivors include: husband; sons, Gerald Klassen, of Hillsboro, Allen (Pattie) Klassen, of Topeka; daughter, Linda Maudlin, of Hutchinson; brother, Otis Unruh, of Newton; sisters, Rossetta Auernheimer, of Moundridge, Annetta Howard, of Hutchinson; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
