Allen S. Diller HESSTON - Allen S. Diller, 89, died Wednesday (May 30, 2007) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.He was born on April 21, 1918, in Cheraw, Colo., to Jacob Reesor and Grace Darling (Cooprider) Diller. They preceded him in death. On May 11, 1941, he married Lillian Pauline Jantz. She preceded him in death in 2001. He was a farmer and a member of Hesston Mennonite Church.Survivors include a son, Jim and Jan Diller of Hesston; daughter, Vicki and Phil Hoffman of Hesston; brothers, Robert and Marcella Diller; Ivan and Doris Diller; Eugene and Donna Diller, all of Hesston; sister, Lois Hershberger of Hesston; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a brother, John Diller.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.Service will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Hesston Mennonite Church in Hesston with Pastor John Murray and Pastor Cheryl Hershberger officiating.
