Elizabeth (Libby) Hertzler
RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. -
Elizabeth (Libby) Hertzler of Richmond Heights, Mo., died Thursday (September
7, 2006). She was born in Newton on Dec. 27, 1917. She is survived by: her son,
Jim Hertzler, and daughter, Maribeth Hebenheimer of St. Louis and son, Gary
Hertzler of Mesa, Ariz., and their spouses, as well as seven grandchildren and
12 great-grandchildren and a multitude of family and friends. Libby was an
inspiration to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Her musical talent
was a gift she gave with love to family, friends and various community groups
for many years. An active member of University United Methodist Church of
University City, Mo., she also served as the administrative assistant to the
church for many years as well as junior choir director for 22 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
have been established with the Memorial Fund of University United Methodist
Church, 6901 Washington Ave., University City, Mo. 63130.
A memorial service
celebrating the life of Libby Hertzler will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at
University United Methodist Church in University City.
