Obituary
Irene C. Wright, 85, died Thursday
(March 7, 2019) at her Hesston residence. She was born Nov. 8, 1932,
in Washington D.C., to Constantine and Winifred (Denyer) Lester. On
April 10, 1953, she married John D. Wright in West Lanham Hills,
Maryland; he survives of the home.
Irene was a member of the Walton United
Methodist Church in Walton. She was a loving wife and mother and
enjoyed caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband, John of
the home; and daughters, Karen Wright of Hesston and Julie M. Wright
and her partner, Susan Ellis, of Charleston, South Carolina.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m.
Thursday (March 14, 2019) at Walton United Methodist Church in
Walton, with The Rev. Amos McCarthy presiding. Burial will be at a
later date in the Walton Cemetery.
