Evelyn K. Lehrman
GOESSEL - Evelyn K. Lehrman,
80, homemaker, died Saturday (Sept. 23, 2006) at Bethesda Home in Goessel. She
was born Nov. 4, 1925, to Abraham and Sarah K. Schmidt in Newton. She married
Orie Willis Lehrman on May 9, 1945, in rural Goessel. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Tabor Mennonite Church. Survivors include: sons, Verney
Lehrman of rural Newton and Jerry Lehrman of Fortaleza, Brazil; a daughter,
Kaye Klassen of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Art Schmidt of Walton; nine
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in
death by: brothers, Simon J. Schmidt and Eldo Schmidt; and a sister, Rachel
Goossen.
Visitation will be from 6 to
8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.
Funeral service will be 10
a.m. Tuesday at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Goessel with Pastors Corey
Miller and Karen Andres officiating.
Burial will be in Tabor
Mennonite Cemetery following the service.
