Lewis Robertson
HESSTON - Lewis Robertson,
57, of Hesston died Thursday (Sept. 28, 2006) at Newton Medical Center. He was
born Dec. 19, 1948, in Houston to Lewis Dare Sr. and Patricia (Craig)
Robertson. On Aug. 11, 1978, he married Kathleen D. Boston in McGregor, Texas.
She survives of the home. Lewis was a self-employed finish carpenter who
enjoyed building furniture for his home. He most recently was employed in
shipping and receiving at the Newton Wal-Mart. He enjoyed woodworking and spending
time outdoors with his family fishing and hunting. He had a love of animals,
especially his beloved German Shepherds.
Other survivors include: sons
Chad Robertson of Lawrence, Cary Boyd of Temple, Texas, and Darrin Boyd of
Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Angel Kraisinger of Newton; nine grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; and a brother, Johnnie W. Reed.
Visitation will be from 1 to
9 p.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. The family will receive
friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10:30
a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Mainzer of the
church officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's
Catholic Cemetery in Newton.
Memorials have been
established with Caring Hands Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
