NEWTON — Helen Schafer, 93, passed
away Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.
She was born Sept. 28, 1925, to Jacob and Christina (Miller) Schafer
at Durham.
Preceded in death by: her two sisters,
Laurine Schafer in 2008, and Miranda Schafer.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday,
March 21, at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Family will receive
friends from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
