Glenn D. Fetters
Glenn D. Fetters, 52, of
Newton, died Wednesday (Oct. 4, 2006) at Newton Medical Center in Newton. He
was born on Aug. 16, 1954, in El Dorado, the son of Charles and Helen (Reibel)
Fetters. He attended school in Independence and served in the Army during 1972
and 1973. He was a welder by trade and worked for Moridge in Moundridge. He
lived in Cherryvale as a child and many years in El Dorado. For the past 12
years he had made his home in Newton. Survivors include: children, Caprice
Fetters of North Carolina, Clarrisa Fetters of El Dorado, Natashia Fetters and
Shanda Fetters of West Virginia, Trek Fetters of Ellsworth, Carley Gardner of
Newton, and Samuel Raprager, also of Newton; seven brothers and sisters, Thelma
Ralston of Albany, Mich., Barbara Gillis, Shirley Chastain and Charlotte Lea,
all of El Dorado, Betty Newmaster of Independence, Delbert Fetters of Towanda
and Terry Fetters of Newton; 12 grandchildren, Gaven Alcorn, Gage Alcorn,
Gabrian Fetters, Alexzandra Joseph, Zachary Joseph, Maddinson Hines, Sutton
Hines, Cameron Hartrob, Tristan Hartrob, Jessica Raprager, Jacob Raprager and
Soul Riedel.
He was preceded in death by:
his parents; brothers, Vernon Fetters, William Fetters; and two sisters,
Darlene Kimbro and Donna Collier.
Family visitation will be
from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday
at Carlson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Sunset
Lawns Cemetery.
