Cdella Wade
Cdella Wade, 76, died
Saturday (Oct. 21, 2006) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Nov.
20, 1929, to Dolly (Gordon) and William Duncan in Wagnor, Okla. She married
Ernest Wade on Feb. 9, 1973, in Hutchinson. She was employed by the Newton
school district as a custodian for more than 30 years. She loved to fish, cook
for family and friends and loved beautiful flowers of all types. Survivors
include: daughter Lisa Johnson and son-in-law of Wichita; step-sister Dorothy
Jordan of Newton; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her husband Ernest Wade on Oct. 23, 1997; sisters Christine Brewer, Rachel
Duncan and Georgia May Love; and her parents.
Visitation will be from noon
to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, and again from 9 a.m. to 9
p.m Wednesday. Family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m
Wednesday.
Dr. Leonard F. Gray will
officiate the service, which will be announced at a later date. Burial will be
at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.

American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
