NEWTON - Mary Sue
Harshbarger, 89, died Oct. 25, 2006, at Asbury Park Healthcare, Newton.
She was born July 23, 1917,
in McBaine, Mo., the daughter of Reuben and Mary Glenn Gibson. A resident of
Newton since 1989, formerly a 45-year resident of Lincoln, Neb., she was a
homemaker and an X-ray technician.
She belonged to United
Methodist Church.
On Nov. 9, 1944, she married
Harold Lee Harshbarger in Columbia, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: a son,
Bill, Newton; a sister, Ruth Curry, Columbia; and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by
four brothers; and four sisters.
Memorial service will be
Sunday at the Harshbarger residence.

may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of Petersen Funeral Home,
