Neva A.
Miller, 89, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 2006) in Hesston.
She was born
June 13, 1917, in Harvey County to Thaddeus and Henrietta A. (McFarlane) Beck.
She married
Waldo E. Miller on May 25, 1941, in Hesston.
She was a
homemaker and member of Fellowship of Kindom Life Ministries Church. She was
voted Kansas Sunday School Teacher of The Year in 1996 at the age of 79.
She was
preceded in death by her husband, Waldo, and her son, Daryl Miller.
She is
survived by sons, Marvin Leo and Sheryl Miller of Ellsworth, John and Joy
Miller of Farmers Bench, Texas, and Scott and Wanda Miller of Hesston;
daughters, Joana and Gary Oswald of McPherson, Jaynette and Dan Miller of
Newton, Judy and Tim Richert of Buhler and Janice and Jim Schroeder of Newton;
22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial
service will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Fellowship of Kingdom Life Ministries
Church in Hesston with Galen Dreier presiding.
Burial will
be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Eastlawn Cemetery in Hesston.
Visitation
is today from 2 to 8 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at Miller
Funeral Home in Hesston.
A memorial
fund has been established with the Fellowship of Kingdom Life Ministries Church
in care of the church.
