Annette M. Schmidt
WICHITA - Annette M. Schmidt,
32, died Sunday (Dec. 3, 2006) at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita. She
was born Aug. 1, 1974, in Wichita to Charlie and Marsha (Allred) Farmer. On
June 8, 1996, she married Matthew Schmidt at First Nazarene Church in Newton.
He survives of the home. Schmidt was a graduate of Remington High School and
worked as a nurse aide for Newton Medical Center. She was a member of First
Missionary Church of Newton. She enjoyed doing crafts, many
of which she displayed around
their home. She greatly looked forward to spending time with her many friends
and especially her husband, Matthew, and son, Trevor.
She is survived by her
husband; parents of Newton; son, Trevor Schmidt of Newton; father-in-law,
Curtis Schmidt of Newton; mother-in-law, Pam Schmidt of Newton; brothers, Allen
and Kimberly Farmer of Whitewater and Pvt. 2 Joseph and Tina Farmer of Junction
City; and brother-in-laws, Nathan and Amy Schmidt of Bolivia, and Fred and
Mindy Schmidt of Newton.
Service will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday at First Missionary Church with Pastor Ray Adams of First Missionary
Church officiating.
Burial will be at First
Missionary Church Cemetery in Elbing.
Visitation will be from 1 to
9 p.m. Tuesday and from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home.
The family will receive
friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the
Trevor Schmidt Education Fund or the First Missionary Church Building Fund.
