Dorothy A. Schwarz
Dorothy A. Schwarz, 82, died Thursday
(Oct. 11, 2001) at Kansas Christian Home. She was born Sept. 18,
1919, to Earl and Sara Elizabeth (Calhoun) Hartman in Holcomb. They
preceded her in death. She married Herman H. Schwarz March 11, 1946,
in Buffalo, Okla. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of the
First Christian Church in Newton.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Kenneth Schwarz of Virginia Beach, Va., and Charles Schwarz of Derby;
four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by: two
brothers, Bruce Hartman and Albert Hartman; and a sister; Ann
Schwarz.
Memorial service was earlier today at
First Christian Church with the Rev. MyCheri Zimmerman officiated.
Memorials have been established with
First Christian Church of Newton and the 'Fellowship of John Fund' of
Kansas Christian Home, both in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral
Home.
