Steven Brent Regier
Steven Brent Regier, 57,
died Thursday (May 29, 2008) at his home in Newton.
He was born Dec. 1, 1950
in Newton to Max Regier and Malinda (Lingenfelder) Brown.
On Dec. 4, 1971, he
married Joan Donaldson in Wichita. They have two sons, Jacob and
Matthew.
Steven worked for 20 years
for Quaker Oats in Topeka. Later, he worked in Newton for Norcraft
and Caring Hands Humane Society.
He liked fishing, hunting,
camping and refinishing furniture. He loved cars.
Survivors include his
wife, Joan Regier of Newton; mother, Malinda (Lingenfelder) Brown of
Newton: sons, Jacob Regier and Matthew Regier, both of Newton:
brothers, Max and Nellie Regier of Newton, Mark and Penny Regier of
Park City, and Rob and Anita Regier of Derby; and sisters, Mary
Regier, Melissa and Tom Keenen, and Rosiland R. Scudder, all of
Newton.
He was preceded in death
by his father Max Regier.
Funeral service will be at
11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbytrian Church in Newton, with Rev.
Jim Anderson of the church officiating.
Peterson Funeral Home in
Newton is in charge of Arrangements.
