Danny Young
Danny Young, 43, of Newton
died Monday (Dec. 25, 2006) at his residence in Newton. He was born May 29,
1963, in Hoisington to Robert and Patricia (Martin) Young. He was employed at AGCO
in Hesston for seven years and belonged to the Eagles Club and AGCO Union. He
will be remembered as a very loving and caring father. He was a sports
enthusiast who especially enjoyed the Jayhawks and Cincinnati Bengels football
team. He was devoted to his work and admired his brother, Bob, a great deal. He
will be missed by his children, family and friends.
Survivors include: a brother,
Robert Young of Newton; former spouse, Jennifer Young of Newton; sons, Adam
Nold of Augusta, Austin Young of Newton and Christian Young of Newton;
daughter, Amanda Lee Young of Newton; niece, Brittany Young of Newton; nephew,
Jett Young of Newton; and two grandchildren, Braden Conner Nold and Tyler
Ashton Nold.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
Visitation will be from 1 to
9 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. Family will greet friends
from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Services will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel in Newton with Pastor Buddy Aldridge
of Church of Christ in Newton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery
in Newton.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the Children College Fund in care of the funeral home.
