Janet Marie Williams
Janet Marie Williams, 59, of
Newton died Monday (Dec. 25, 2006) in a vehicle accident near Perry, Okla. She
was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Ashland to Joseph Glenn and Ellen Marie (Edmonston)
Williams. She retired from AGCO Manufacturing after working there for many
years. She was a long-time resident of Newton. She graduated from Ashland High
School and received a bachelor's degree. She had an extreme love for her five
dogs. She also enjoyed gardening and researching American history.
Survivors include: her brother,
Jimmy G. Williams of Perry; a niece, Tanda D. Cross and husband Tony of Perry;
and five great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her parents.
Graveside service will be at
2 p.m. Saturday at the Protection Cemetery in Protection with Andrew Evans
presiding.
Visitation will be from 1 to
7 p.m. today at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the Janet Williams Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
