HESSTON- Ella B. Bachman, 89, a Hesston homemaker, died Tuesday (Jan. 28, 1992) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 26, 1903, at rural Moundridge, the daughter of Rudolph and Katherine Stucky Ewy. She married Gerhard Bachman on April 29, 1923, at Moundridge. He died April 11, 1977.
She was a member of West Zion Mennonite Church.
Survivors include a son, Weldon "Bud" Bachman of Hesston; a daughter, Lois M. Davis of Newton; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at West Zion Mennonite Church at Moundridge with Rev. Ralph Graber officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
