Earl Gross Wismer

Earl Gross Wismer, 76, died Friday (Dec. 2, 2005) at Bethel Healthcare in North Newton. He was born to Norman Myers Wismer and Laura Gross Wismer Nov. 22, 1929, in Doylestown, Penn. He lived in several communities in Bucks County, Penn., before moving to Newton in April 2005. Survivors include: three sisters, Jean W. Friesen of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Eleanor Kaufman of Newton, Nancy Hilty of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; brother Don Wismer of Albuquerque, N.M.; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Menno Hall in Kidron Bethel Village with chaplain Amanda Rempel and the Rev. Heidi Regier-Kreider presiding.

Memorial gifts may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas and Bethel Healthcare in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
