Heckendorn, Velma Deane

Velma Deane Jenkins was the daughter of Edward Ray & Wilma Leona Marrow Jenkins. She married Merle A Heckendorn 4 Nov 1949 in Denver, CO. They had one son, Dale A Heckendorn.
Velma loved to play the organ and enjoyed fellowship with Christian women's groups. Velma retired from AT&T.
Preceding Velma in death were her parents, her husband, Merle A Heckendorn, her son, Dale A Heckendorn; two brothers, Harry Edward Jenkins and Darrell L Jenkins; two half sisters, Viola Mae Jenkins Webster and Alice Irene Jenkins Green.
She is survived by one sister, Marian O Jenkins Cantwell (James) and daughter-in-law Lynda Heckendorn; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will held on Monday Oct 8 at 2 PM at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary at 6601 S Colorado Blvd. Visitation will start one hour prior to service.
