Obituary

John Zerlang, aged 55, of 907 1/2 West Lasalle avenue, died at 6:15 a. m. Sunday in his home. He had been ill three weeks. Born in Laporte, Ind, June 5, 1888, he came here 18 years ago from Newton, Kan. His marriage to Lena Werkman took place Sept. 16, 1914, in Newton. She survives, and he also leaves his mother, Mrs. Anna Stacy, of Newton. Friends may call in the Russell funeral chapel where services will take place at 2 p. m. Wednesday. Rev. Don H. Copeland, rector of St. James' Episcopal church, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery in Michigan City, Ind.
