Edna L Schrag KINGMAN - Edna L. Schrag, 89, died Jan. 19, 2009, at Riverside Village, Wichita.She was born May 10, 1919, at Walton, Kan., the daughter of Cornelius H. and Katarina Voth Schmidt. A longtime resident of the Kingman area, she was a homemaker.She was a member of Kingman Mennonite Church and the Kingman Art Club.On Oct. 28, 1939, she married Elmer V. Schrag at rural Newton; he died Feb. 23, 2004. Survivors include: son, Jerry; daughters, Patricia Orcutt, Karen Matthews and Janet Harris; brothers, Harold and Earl Schmidt; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence, Charles and Milton; sisters Elsie Zielke, Irma Schmidt, Martha Unruh and Hilda Schroeder; and grandson, Jason Orcutt.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Kingman Mennonite Church.
