Patricia R. Greer Patricia R Greer, 82, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at her home.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at the First Christian Church in El Dorado led by Pastor Stan Seymour. A private family graveside service will be held at Ridge-way Cemetery in Burns, Kan.Patricia was born on Dec. 27, 1934, the daughter of Vernon George and Ella Louise (Campbell) Zieman, in Newton. She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1952, and married Jack Greer on Jan. 14,1966, in El Dorado. Patricia was a buyer for Texaco Refinery and was also the owner/operator of Jax's Place in El Dorado. She loved to read, garden, gamble, dance and travel.Her loving family includes: her children, Carole Sanders, Jackie Brooks (Ed), Steve Greer, Wayne Hathaway (Therese), Maria Wilson (Bryan), Lorena Hathaway, George Greer, Gail Warren (Brent), Carla Buckner (Jay) and Greg Greer (Kim); siblings, Eloise Bruington, Ann Wimberly, Judy Stewart, Richard Zieman and Mick Zieman; 29 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Greer; son, Roderick Greer; daughter, Valerie Gomez; brother, Charles Zieman; sister, Georgia Zieman.Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E.
