Charlene Beacham
1956-2015
Charlene Beacham, of Sedgwick, died
Thursday (August 13, 2015). She was born to Zona and Elmer Kendall on
July 16, 1956, in Wichita.
Charlene is remembered by her family as
a devoted mother, wife and grandmother who was always willing to help
and care for others. She worked as licensed practical nurse for
nearly 20 years at different facilities, being the Veterans Health
Administration, where she met Lyn's mother, who introduced the two.
Lyn and Charlene later married. Charlene enjoyed spending time with
her grandchildren, crocheting, playing cards and doing puzzle books.
She loved Sudoku! She was a pet lover, pampering her dogs Sissy and
Bibbie. She always said that Thanksgiving was her holiday. She loved
preparing large meals for her family and the time they spent together
enjoying them.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband Teddy Rodgers; brother, Jimmy Edens; sister,
Charlotte Lambert; son-in-law, John Terronez II; and grandson, Justin
Hull.
She is survived by husband, Lyn
Beacham; daughters, Murrita Terronez and Janelle and Dustin Brown;
sister, Elma Clemons; brothers, Matthew, Curtis and Douglas
Javonovich; grandchildren Dakota Redd, Jaycee, and Brycen Brown and
Bayleigh Brown -- on the way.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m.
Sunday (August 16, 2015) at Petersen Funeral Home. Funeral Service
will be 10 a.m. Monday (August 17, 2015) at Petersen Funeral Home.
