Cynthia D. Wulf
Cynthia D. Wulf, 44, died
Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2007) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis in
Wichita.
She was born on Dec. 16, 1962
in Longmont, Colo., to Albert "Pete" and Sally (Leonard) Dirks. On
Aug. 5, 1985, she married James Wulf at First Christaian Church in Longmont,
Colo. He survives of the Home.
Cynthia was an active member
of Newton Bible Church, where she was involved in many activities, including
teaching Sunday School and AWANA.
She graduated from Manhattan
Christian College with a degree in Christian education and counseling. She was
a dovoted farm wife, mother and home-school teacher to her three children.
She was a member of Home
School Athletic Association Board and a founding member of the Farm Bureau vote
FBF. Cynthia also was an East Lakers 4-H Club Leader. She greatly enjoyed her
time on the farm caring for the animals - especially the horses.
Cynthia worked as the mail
administrator for Bethel College. SHe also counseled at the Heartland Pregnancy
Care Center. Cynthia will be remembered by the many ways of sharing her faith
in God with her community and family.
Other survivors include:
sons, Mason Wulf of Andover and Dakota Wulf of Newton; daughter Treye Wulf of
Newton; mother, Sally Dirks of Lonmont Colo.,; sister Tammy Dirks of Moreno
Valley, Calif.; sister Patty and Arn Womble of Lubbock, Texas; nieces, Jessica
Hollo and Abiglae Womble; and nephews, Brent Hollo and Kevin Womble.
She was preceded in death by
her father.
Service will be at 11 a.m.
Monday at Newton Bible Church in Newton with Pastors Don Myer and Bob Clark
officaiting. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
Visitation will be from 1 to
9 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton with family present from 3 to
5 p.m.
A memorial fund has been
established with Newton Bible Christian Church, Heartland Pregnancy Care Center
and Answers In Genesis, all in care of the funeral Home.
