Paul F. Epp
Paul F. Epp, 91, of North
Newton, died Friday (Feb. 9, 2007) at Newton Medical Center in Newton.
He was born May 25, 1915, in
Marion to Gerhard and Cornelia (Friesen) Epp.
On Nov. 9, 1939, he married
Ruth S. Schmidt at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Goessel. She survives of the
home.
He was a retired dairyman and
farmer in rural Newton. He was a longtime member of Tabor Mennonite Church in
rural Goessel.
He greatly enjoyed spending
time with his many family and friends, and especially enjoyed his church
family.
Other survivors include son
Weldon and Bonnie Epp of Newton; daughter Verda and Geoffrey Deckert of Newton;
five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; brothers Edwin F. Epp and Jake F. Epp; sisters Sara Plenert and
Cornelia Nickel; and daughter Joycely Kay Epp.
The funeral service will be
at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tabor Mennonite Church with Pastor Corey Miller of the
church officiating.
A graveside service will be
at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Visitation will be from 1 to
9 p.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton, with the family receiving
friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Tabor Mennonite Church or Mennonite Central Committee, in care of the funeral
home.
