Dollie E. Kirk
NEWTON – Dollie E. Kirk, 92, Newton,
died Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton.
Mrs. Kirk was born Dec. 16, 1892, in
Altoona. She moved from Fredonia to Newton in 1974. She was a member
of the United Methodist Church, Newton.
Her husband, William, died in 1984.
Survivors include a son, William H. of Salina; two daughters,
Elizabeth Brittain of Newton and Joanne Thompson of Tulsa, Okla.;
three brothers, Vern East of Toronto, and Paul East and Robert East,
both of Tulsa; two sisters, Helen Jones of Sand Springs, Okla., and
Catherine Panton of Lancaster, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated. A Memorial
service will be announced later.
