Miller, Cleve

Cleve Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Miller of Rising Star, was
fatally injured by a street car collision in Kansas City Sunday night
and died five hours later in the General hospital without gaining
consciousness.
Mr. MIller was employed as a motorman on the Swope
Park Line, in a return trip late Sunday night, he mistook the lights on
a trolley repair truck for sewer lights in that district, and run his
car directly into the truck. He was thrown from the car and his skull
badly fractured with the above results.
Mr. Miller was a young
man 28 years of age, who was born in this county and had lived here
practically all his life. He was in the restaurant business here for a
short time a few years ago. He went to Kansas City about six months
ago. He leaves a wife and two children.
The body was brought to
Eureka Tuesday morning. Funeral services were conducted in the Star
school house at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, and interment at Star Cemetery.
