Wilma Ratzlaff Wahlstedt
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Wilma Ratzlaff
Wahlstedt, 86, died Sunday (Oct. 12, 1997) at Barbourville.
She was born Aug. 18, 1911, to Henry
Ratzlaff and Anna Schrag. She married Carl O. Wahlstedt in 1942 in
Newton. He survives of Barbourville.
She was a former school teacher in the
Newton area.
She has been serving as a missionary in
Kentucky. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Newton.
Other survivors include: four
daughters; one son; two sisters, Esther Harms of Newton and Martha
Ratzlaff of Kenya, E. Africa; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her parents and three brothers.
Memorial services were held Tuesday
(Oct. 14, 1997) at Barbourville. Burial was in the Barbourville
Cemetery.
