Carlos T. Saenz Sr.
PEABODY - Carlos T. Saenz Sr., 84, died
Jan. 9, 2005, at Legacy Park, Peabody.
He was born July 5, 1920, at El Paso,
Texas, the son of Gregorio and Emeteria Nunoz Saenz. He was a machine
operator/laborer for Santa Fe railroad.
On Oct. 30, 1941, he married Sarah
Rodriguez at Newton. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Carlos T. Jr., Halstead, and Fred M., Peabody; a daughter, Frances I.
Martinez, Peabody; two sisters, Marianne Llamas and Jennie Rodriguez;
13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother,
Fidel; a sister, Dionecia "Dee" Delgadillo; and a
great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at
Holy Family Catholic Church, Florence, with Father Stephen Gronert
presiding. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Baker Funeral Home,
Peabody. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral
home. Interment will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
Memorials may be sent to the Peabody
Elementary Playground Fund, in care of Peabody State Bank, or
American Legion Post 95 - Avenue of Flags Fund, in care of the
funeral home.
