Sadie E. Unruh
GOESSEL -- Sadie E. Unruh, 92,
homemaker, died Monday (Feb. 10, 2003) at Bethesda Home in Goessel.
She was born April 5, 1910, to John J. and Effie (Unruh) Becker in
Harvey County. She married Peter B. Unruh Dec. 17, 1931, in Halstead.
He preceded her in death. She was born and grew up in Harvey County.
She moved to a farm in rural Newton and to Bethesda Home in Goessel
in 1995. She was a member of Koerner Heights Church. Survivors
include: a son, Gerald Unruh of rural Newton; three daughters, Thelma
Goerzen of rural Newton, Barbara Schroeder of Greeley, Colo., and
Marcella Wagerle of Wichita; 16 grandchildren; 25
great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; three
great-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by two
brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be until 9 p. m. today
with family greeting friends from 7 to 9 p. m. at Miller Funeral Home
in Goessel.
Graveside service will be 9:30 a. m.
Wednesday at Koerner Heights Church in Newton with the Revs. Mark
Isaac and Corey Miller officiating.
Memorial have been established with
Bethesda Home in care of the funeral home, 303 E. Main, Goessel, KS.
