Dorothy C. Hanson
Dorothy C. Hanson, 97, died Saturday
(May 5, 2007) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.
She was born on Aug. 12, 1909, in
Kansas City, Mo., to Albert and Amelia Larson. They preceded her in
death. On April 26, 1936, she married Ralph Hanson in Nebraska. He
preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1990. She was a member of the First
United Methodist Church in Newton.
Survivors include sons, Dennis and
Ardis Hanson of El Dorado; and Dale and Patti Hanson of Overland
Park; daughter, Louise Rose and friend Jesse Fields of Tulsa, Okla;
five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by a
brother and one sister.
Service will be a private family
service with Pastor Jay Anderson officiating. Burial will be at
Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
