Mrs. George T. Schierling Sr.
NEWTON -- Mrs. Marie Schierling, 61, died in Bethel Deaconess Hospital Tuesday of injuries received in a two-car collision on U. S. 50 west of here Oct. 5.
Mrs. Schierling had lived east of Newton for 15 years.
She was born April 18, 1897, in Buhler, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Kroeker. She was married to George T. Schierling Sr. May 30, 1915, in Inman.
Mrs. Schierling was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Newton.
She is survived by the widower; a daughter, Mrs. George Ensz, Colorado Springs, Colo., four sons, Harry C. Wellington, Edward K., Pueblo, Colo., and Irvin and George T, Jr., Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Eldo Schmidt, Buhler, and Mrs. John Ediger, Hutchinson; four brothers, George Kroeker, Fresno, Calif., John, Five Points, Calif., Edward, Hutchinson, and Herbert, Fairborn, Ohio.
Funeral will be at 2 p. m. Friday is in First Mennonite Church with burial in Buhler Cemetery.
