Kay Charlene (O'Brien) Thomas
Thomas, Kay Charlene (O'Brien) 74,
passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017. She was born in Cambridge,
KS, to Harvey Allen O'Brien and Lola Isabelle (Skinner) O'Brien. She
married Jerry Max Thomas and to this union were three children. Kay
worked as a secretary for the L. & L. Moving Company 20 years.
She then enjoyed quietness and was content being at home. She is
survived by her children, Christina Fowler, Brent (Cathy) Thomas and
Bradley Thomas; grandchildren, Christopher Fowler, Maegan Kater and
Michelle Embry; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Joyce Tucker. She
is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jean Olvera and Bev
White; and ex-husband, Jerry Thomas. In lieu of flowers, memorials
designated to the Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS
67202. A Graveside Service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, September
21, at the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, KS. Condolences may be left
