Leona Goldie Gray
HESSTON - Leona Goldie Gray, 92,
homemaker, died Monday (Feb. 27, 2006) at Schowalter Villa in
Hesston. She was born May 27, 1913, to Toby and Anna (Wedel) Ratzlaff
in Halstead. She married Basil A. Gray. He preceded her in death in
1968. She was a Hesston resident 25 years, moving from Kansas City,
Mo. Survivors include: sons, Wayne E. Gray of Holualoa, Hawaii, Bill
E. Gray of Streetman, Texas, and Donn R. Gray of Wichita; brothers,
Bob Ratzlaff of Hutchinson and Gene Ratzlaff of Granbury, Texas; 10
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by: a
son, James R. Gray; and two brothers and two sisters.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial
service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston
with Chaplain Beverly Baumgartner officiating.
