Lottie J. Bryant
Lottie J. Bryant, 92, died Friday (May 11, 2007).
She was married to the Rev. Lowell C. Bryant and celebrated
70 years of marriage prior to his death in 2003. She lived on the Kansas
Christian Retirement Home Campus for the past several years. She was the
daughter of W. R. and Ruby Hindman of Bartley, Neb. She was born on a farm near
Danbury, Neb., and moved to Barley when she was 8 years old. She was active
with her husband in the Christian ministry for 60 years, during which time she
authored numerous poems.
Surviving her are two children, Rada Jewel Bacon (Richard)
of Kearney, Neb; and Dr. John Lowell Bryant (Sharon) of Payson, Ariz. There are
five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother,
Dr. Darrell H. Hindman of Silver City, N.M.; and a sister, Mrs. Nelda Trisco of
York, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister,
Muriel Grissell of Emporia.
A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at
Greenwood Cemetery.
