Irma Eileen (Collins) Hoskinson
ANTHONY – Irma Eileen (Collins) Hoskinson was born on the
family farm near Burrton, April 5, 1923, to Percy Raymond Collins and Amiee Ida
Matlack Collins.
In July of 1945, she married high school classmate, William
H. "Bill" Hoskinson. They started their married life in Burrton, but
were transferred many times. She began her banking career at First National
Bank in Hutchinson. On Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, Irma passed away at Home Comfort
in Anthony. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; sons,
Jerry of Catoosa, Okla. and Tommy of Springfield, Mo.; son-in-law, Innis Croft
of Anthony; brothers, Chet, Don, Joe, Melvin and Ray Collins; sisters, Marie
Anderson and Betty Scott; eight brothers-in-law; seven sisters-in-law; eight
nephews and three nieces. Survivors include: daughter, Susan Croft of Anthony;
daughter-in-law, Janice Hoskinson of Catoosa, Okla.; grandchildren, Christopher
Hoskinson, Erin and husband Dusty Albright and Ashley Traylor, all of Anthony,
Brandon Hoskinson of Tulsa, Okla. and Garett Hoskinson and wife Lindsay of
Broken Arrow, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Paige Hoskinson, Payton Traylor,
Innslee Albright, all of Anthony, and Lucas and Avery Hoskinson of Broken
Arrow, Okla.; two sisters, Charlotte McElwain of Inman, Kan. and Carol Ehrich
of Yorba Linda, Calif.; many nieces and nephews; and friends at Home Comfort,
where she spent the last four and a half years.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Prairie
Rose Funeral Home, Anthony. Memorials may be made to the Anthony United
Methodist Church or Anthony Medical Center Home Comfort, in care of the funeral
