Garry D. Throckmorton
Garry D. Throckmorton, 63, died Thursday (May 17, 2007) at
his residence in Wichita.
He was born Oct. 24, 1943, in Pittsburg to Fred and Ethel
(Myers) Throckmorton. He was a 1962 graduate of Newton High School. He worked
as an independent insurance agent in Wichita. He enjoyed watching old movies
and sports. He also looked forward to spending time with his many friends and
family.
Survivors include his mother; a sister, Linda and Mac
Gyllenhall of Tucson, Ariz.; a niece, Kirsten Bert of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a
nephew, Kyle Bert of Bozeman, Mont.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen
Funeral Home in Newton. A gathering of remembrance with family present will be
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Burial will be at Iantha Cemetery in Iantha, Mo.
Memorials may be made to Caring Hands Humane Society in care
of the funeral home.
