Wilma F. Toews
Wilma F. Toews, 94, died Monday (May 21, 2007) at Kidron
Bethel Village in North Newton.
Wilma was born on Sept. 11, 1912, in Herbert, Saskatchewan,
Canada to Henery F. Toews and Agnes (Flaming). She was a North Newton resident
for 32 years after moving from Colorado. She graduated from Hillsboro High
School, Bethel College, and received a master's degree from Kansas State
University and a Ph.D. from Brigham Young University. Wilma was a teacher and a
member of Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton.
Wilma was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Toews;
and a sister Grace Toews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Moundridge
Funeral Home in Moundridge.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hillsboro Mennonite
Brethern Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Memorials may be made to Mennonite Central Committee in care
of the funeral home.
