Kenneth G. Gould
HALSTEAD - Kenneth G. Gould,
85, died Sunday (May 20, 2007) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center in
Wichita.
He was born on June 9, 1921,
in Aurelia, Iowa, to Fred and Lavina (Zwick) Gould. They preceded him in death.
On March 3, 1948, he married Joyce Marie Peterson in Cherokee, Iowa. She
survives at home. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rayford,
Texas; life member of the Disabled American Veterans, a former member of the
American Legion and U.S. Army Veteran World War II Pacific Theater.
Survivors include a son, Ron
Gould of Northfield, Ill.; daughters, Linda Daniels of Hampton, Va.; and
Marilyn Jones of Rapid City, S.D.; sisters, Hazel Kelly of Cherokee, Iowa;
Laurine Lundell of Cherokee, Iowa; and Shirley Gould of Moline, Iowa; seven
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by
brothers, Clifford, Harold and Galen Gould; sisters, Ruth Parks and Bernice
Mercer; and a half brother Marvin Gould.
Cremation has taken place.
Service will be private. Burial will be at Lindsborg Cemetery in Lindsborg.
