Julia Johnson
Julia Johnson, 80, factory worker and
homemaker, died Monday (June 23, 2003) at Friendly Acres Retirement
Community. She was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Galt, Mo. She was a member
of Grace Community Church. She was a member of the Veterans of
Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Benevolent Order of Foresters. She
enjoyed craft work and fishing. Survivors include: her husband,
Garlan Johnson of Newton; three stepdaughters, Glenace Humphrey of
St. Louis, Mo., Glenace Leadford of Merritt Island, Fla., and Eyvonne
Sarniswick of Hutchinson; nine grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a. m. to 5 p.
m. Wednesday and from 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral
Home.
Funeral service will be 10 a. m. Friday
at Grace Community Church with Pastor Steve Friesen officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens of
Memory.
Memorials have been established with
the American Heart Association and Hospice Care, both in care of the
funeral home.
