Eldon Harold Smith
Eldon Harold Smith, 80, died
Monday (June 11, 2007) at Newton Medical Center. He was born on April 4, 1927,
in Wichita to David Franklin and Anna Elizabeth (Krauss) Smith. They preceded
him in death. On June 19, 1951, he married Arlene Mae Wilson in Bentley. She
preceded him in death on March 31, 2006. He was a farmer and a veteran of the
U.S. Army serving in Korea. He was a member of the American Society of
Barbershop Singing, and was a lover of classical music. Survivors include two
sister-in-laws, Marjorie Will of Halstead; and Shirley Sheffler of Sedgwick.
Visitation will be from 2 to
8 p.m. Thursday at Kaufman Funeral Home with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Cremation will follow
visitation.

HospiceCare of Kansas or Friends of Felines, both in care of the funeral home.
