Myrna Hein
HESSTON - Myrna Hein, 65, of
Hesston died Saturday (June 23, 2007) at Via Christi Regional Center-St.
Francis campus in Wichita. She was born on June 25, 1941, in Dighton to William
"Bill" and Thelma (Gibbs) Anderson. She married Charles L. Hein on
Aug. 10, 1968, in Dighton. She was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church in
Hesston, where she shared her love of God with her brothers and sisters in
Christ. In addition to her love for Christ and her church, she treasured her family,
animals and God's natural wonders. She will be greatly missed by her family and
admired for the courage she showed throughout her illness.
Survivors include sisters,
Bobbie Sue Barber of Hesston and Sherry Lee and Scott Laird of Shawnee; a
daughter, Lisa Scott of Kalispell, Mont.; three grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; six nephews; four nieces; six great-nephews; seven
great-nieces; other extended family and friends; and beloved cats, Callie and
Little Bit.
She was preceded in death by
her parents and husband.
Visitation will be from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton with family present
from 6 to 8 p.m.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church in Hesston with Pastor Don Jackson
officiating. Burial will be at Healy Cemetery in Healy.
Memorials may be made to the
Building Fund of The Grace Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
