Richard B. "Andy"
Anderson, 73, retired from NCR, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer Sunday
(June 24, 2007) at Asbury Park Nursing Home in Newton.
Survivors include his wife of
51 years, Marilyn of the home; children, Steven and Pamela Anderson of
Jacksonville, Fla., Lisa and Jonathan Meyers of Chaska, Minn., and Wendy Bishop
of Sedgwick; grandchildren, Luke, Lacey and Haley; sisters, Mary Lou and Dale
Chambers of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Kristi Lynn Bainter of Des Moines, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by
his parents, Ralph and Luba Anderson and a brother, George Anderson.
Visitation will be from 5 to
7 p.m. Wednesday at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center.
Service will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church in Wichita.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to Christ Lutheran Church in Wichita and Caring Hands Humane
Society in Newton in care of the funeral home.
